THE VOICE OF WADI AL NAAM: THE PRAVER PLAN

In 2011 the Israeli government approved a five-year development plan called the Praver Plan. One of the aims of this plan was to uproot tens of thousands of Bedouins from their lands, which according to the state of Israel are unrecognized villages, and relocate them to townships.

Opposing this new idea, the Bedouin population have demonstrated, protested, and have even challenged the Israeli government in court.

This documentary was filmed in Wadi Al Naam, one of the many unrecognized villages, and tells a very sad, disturbing and painful story based on the suffering, affliction, and hardship that befalls the Bedouin population.
